Its ok .. Not alot of mushroom choice but still a great app 4 mushroom lovers

I just downloaded this, and since Im a french speaker, the french version was automatically given to me. I can not insist enough on the importance of a quality translation. If you absolutely want to make your app available in french, please hire a translator, or else stick to english. Machine translation really doesnt cut it, and i dont mean just esthetically. Most of the written content is simply impossible to understand, which, in your field of business, in quite DANGEROUS, as your disclaimer says in its bad french. In your case, its not just a question of respect, ita a question of safety.

1.4 GB download for lite version and unable to access *any* content without creating a login account.

login to use an app? why?

English only...no way to go french. i paid the pro...same thing. lose my money. En anglais seulement...pas daccès au français.

This would be an amazing app if the bugs would be fixed. I just purchased it and cant input information, comments, locations.

Quick summary: 1) You must setup a profile but the system will not allow you to get past that step upon save (tried 4 devices and many attempts) 2) Application is huge - pictures take up a lot of space - could be a major issue for users 3) The developer has created a nightmare with the absolute need to register and/or login. When you are in the field there is no Internet….. As such, a useless application. Same is true with the paid version! More information: Registration or login does not work - we tried to create an ID, login using Facebook and login using Twitter. Regardless of the approach, once we got to the next stage where you HAVE to setup a profile, all failed. No matter WHAT we tried we could not get past the screen. Unnecessary Information: The application makes you put a picture in (but says you don’t have to, but it would not work without it for us. Why? The app also makes you enter your sex - why? It makes you enter your full name - why! User Name, Country, My Language and PREFERRED Language. Why! ? What, I might have 2 language preferences? The application is huge - it takes up 1.5GB on my device. Download was excruciatingly slow too despite good download speed. The old version was svelte compared to this version. They need an option for the image size. No matter that issue - we could never save and proceed to even try the app. Too bad for them since we would have bought 4-5 copies for the Boy Scout Troop. We tried this app and installed on 4 devices to make the problems were not a fluke. D

I Think that this could be a good app but it will not let me purchase the full app, somebody needs to fix that!!

Ive owned the "Pro" version of this app for years. I could pull my iPhone out of my pocket in the middle of nowhere and check a mushroom ID; which is what this app is for. But it has now been updated by social media zealots, and will not let me access my app (which I bought and paid for) without creating a user name and password, signing in, and providing tons of required information. Even after all that, I must sign in to use it (not possible in the woods, social media geniuses), and the app is broken, not allowing a user to read the actual information, but instead constantly jumping back to the top of the list. This app has gone from a standard resource to a miserable failure, all due to useless, annoying, unrequested social media concepts. Fire the social media team, let your old developer fix the broken app, and save yourselves a class action lawsuit. In the meantime, if I poison myself from a mushroom misidentification, my heirs know who to sue.

I believe the reviews. Too bad. Rogers should be the standard. Thinking of writing my own!!!

I really liked this program when I first install it, but since the latest update that required a sign-in through social media it is an absolute PITA. I dont want everything connected to Facebook. I finally broke down and created a user name and password, but now it wont accept it and the error messages are only half visible on the screen. It required a reboot to get back to the initial screen and I STILL cant get in. I give up. They took a great app and made it completely frustrating. I am DELETING it.

You cannot beat the price of this lite version nor the knowledge it contains. Very clean straight forward UI with crisp imagery. While I can see the pictures fine I do wish when clicked you could get a larger view. I will definitely be purchasing the full version of this app!

Good app wish it had a upgrade button on it if you want the full version

This app has a very short list of mushrooms. One of my favorites from Louisiana being lactarius indigo was not found in your list.

Vague descriptions and less than 100 species non of which were helpful to me I doubt the pro version is any better.
